Aubrey Manns Session

Some really great friends of mine asked if I would do a session for their daughter for her first birthday that is approaching August 28th.  Our schedules finally agreed and was able to shoot.  The location was in Lexington, NC.  The weather was not the best, but we made do with what we had.  Heavy rains showered this area the night before making our shoes wet the next morning when the session took place.  Great thing is Miss Aubrey was an amazing subject so my part was pretty easy.  I hope you enjoy looking into this session.  Please feel free to leave me a comment and also take a look at all my images HERE at my website. 

The first set of images were taken in a rocking chair that was a gift from Aubrey's Aunt.  She had sanded this rustic rocking chair down and re-finished it for a gift to Aubrey.  What a wonderful gift and pretty good carpentry skills!

I was originally going to place Aubrey in the toy chest, but after some debate, thought it would be best if she was on the ground along with the chalk board to signify this milestone.  I really enjoyed this image. 

 

 

 

The parents got a cake just for her to do what she wishes with it.  She was very "lady" like with her cake at first.  Taking small bites and avoiding getting anything on her.  She caught on later in the shoot and got dirty, however the first images proved she likes to enjoy her cake.  

Ahhh... The look of "I have no clue what happened".  This image is priceless.
